Takes the Mystery Out of Wild Card Video Poker -- Wild Card Video Poker reads easily and well. It fills a need, as the variety of video poker games is getting so large it is bound to snow under the casual (and even frequent) casino goer. These are the casino customers who are pretty much comfortable with only gaming machines; that is the casino goers who are intimidated or burned by table games much less the poker room.
Wild card games, for most, are just added mystery on top of that already supplied by the huge variety of video poker games and game types. Jim's latest book really cuts through all that. I applaud the large number of strategy tables he's supplied (via links)! I also really like his use of the Quad Table technique to give users a very informative sorting of all video poker games (not just wild card games) according to payout and volatility.
Jim's four books are an absolute boon to all those most comfortable playing the game machines. Now they only need to become aware of the treasure he's put out there for them! John K.
